THE TEXAS RANGERS ARE
GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!!

Please read below:

This is the "Send Trevor to the World Series to watch the Texas Rangers because he's been waiting nearly 25 years for this to happen" fundraising website. Now I know what you're thinking, BUUUUTTT....they are up 3 games to 2 and it looks very promising with the pitching line up and of course vindication on their minds.  That is what you were thinking, right?

Here's a back story for you to read:

I'm not going to give you any sad sob story about how much I need or deserve it. I don't believe half of those that I hear anyway. So I'll give it to you straight. I am in the United States Military and I am stationed in Germany. I have deployed overseas, but so have 80 percent of the Military, give or take. I did not get hurt while I was deployed. I don't have a life threatening illness. I have a great family with me, and my extended family is just as amazing. Now you might be thinking "why the hell should I help this guy?" Why the hell not? Do you have something better to do with a dollar or so? No, you don't. I'm trying to get this for my dad and I because that has been our thing, the Texas Rangers.

My family (mom, dad and three sister's at the time; the forth sister was much later) and I moved from Monroe, Iowa in 86'-87' to Denton, Texas. We started going sometime after that, and know I don't know exact dates for two reasons: A. I'm a guy and 2. I was a kid. With that many girls in the house we needed to get away. In come the Texas Rangers! I'm not even sure how many games we've been to, but it's a lot, and did I always sit down and watch every minute of the game intently? No. But the time with my dad and the life time of memories are priceless.

Like I said, no sad or amazing or climactic story that would make you give up a dollar. Just a guy that's trying to spend some time with his dad watching their team and having the time of their life.

Here's what I need:
I need to get from Germany to Texas.
I need 2 tickets to the World Series (One for me, one for my dad).
A one night stay in Arlington, Texas. Days Inn will be fine.

As you can see, I'm not looking for much. If everyone gives just one dollar, and by everyone I mean about 3000 people, you all will be helping a dream come true.

Also note that any extra money WILL be donated to a charity of the Texas Rangers' choice....if I can get a hold of them. If not it WILL go to a charity that you can vote on.

Come on, that's a great deal!

If by any chance people do want to donate and I don't get enough for myself AND my dad, all money (minus birthday money) will go to a charity.

Game 3 of the World Series would be in Texas on 30 Oct 2010.
